Monthly Anniversary Of The Smolensk Disaster In Warsaw
In Warsaw, Poland, on May 10, 2024, former Prime Minister and chairman of the PiS party, Jaroslaw Kaczynski, is attempting to destroy a wreath placed at the Monument to the Victims of the Smolensk Tragedy. On the anniversary of the Smolensk disaster, which resulted in the deaths of 96 people, including Polish President Lech Kaczynski and his wife, Jaroslaw Kaczynski, along with leading PiS MPs, is celebrating a ceremony at the monument. Every month, a group of people also lays a wreath in memory of all the victims and blames President Lech Kaczynski for the plane crash.
