Alicia Barcena, head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is presenting the Mexican Model of Human Mobility to address the issue of migration, understand its causes, and prioritize Mexican communities abroad in Mexico City, Mexico, on Tuesday. This model is being developed jointly by many Mexican government institutions such as the Ministries of the Interior, Security and Citizen Protection, Defence, the Navy, Finance, Labour, Education, as well as the Tax Administration Service, the National Migration Institute, the National System for the Integral Development of Families, the Mexican Commission for Refugee Aid, the Mexican Social Security Institute, the National Institute of Statistics and Geography, the National Employment Service, the National Workers' Housing Fund Institute, among others.
