Students' Strike In Kamionka In Krakow
A lecture on realism literature is taking place for interested people and students from OZZ Inicjatywa Pracownicza during a sit-in strike in the closed dormitory 'Kamionka' of the Jagiellonian University, demanding the dormitory be put back into use in Krakow, Poland, on May 19, 2024. On May 17, 2024, students from OZZ Inicjatywa Pracownicza started a sit-in strike, occupying the closed 'Kamionka' dormitory belonging to the Jagiellonian University. The protesters are demanding that the dormitory be renovated and put back into use. They are drawing attention to the very high prices of renting apartments in Krakow, which, combined with the lack of places in dormitories, are making it impossible for people to study.
