Lack Of Water In The El Yuguelito Property, Iztapalapa

A water pipe worker is distributing water inside the property known as El Yuguelito, an irregular piece of land located in the Polvorilla Colony in the Iztapalapa mayor's office in Mexico City, Mexico, which, according to the National School of Social Work of The National University of Mexico, was established on a landfill in 2008. Currently, more than 1,000 families are living in conditions of vulnerability, marginalization, and social exclusion, accompanied by migration that is giving rise to the establishment of small Haitian families in the area.
