Audi cars vulnerable to radio hacks.

BYDGOSZCZ, 26 March 2016 - Audi is one of 19 brands which are susceptible to car theft by amplifier attacks. By adjusting the cars radio frequency the locking mechanism can be fooled into thinking the owner is nearby. Surveillance footage of cars being stolen has shown the hack is currently being used by car thieves. Currently 95 percent of European car brands use radio frequency activated locks.
