Yousmarg , the Meadow of Jesus, located west of Srinagar is a hill station and is the land of many high peaks of the Pir-Panjal range, lies in the district Budgam of the Indian controlled Kashmir and is well know for its unique flowers that bloom in Spring. The word Yousmarg can be broken down as short form of Youza and marg meaning meadow. A popular destination for tourists prior to the 1998 outbreak of armed rebellion against Indian rule in Kashmir.
