Lajkonik Parade In Krakow

The traditional Lajkonik parade is parading through the city streets in Krakow, Poland, on June 6, 2024. The Lajkonik Parade is included in the National List of Intangible Cultural Heritage and is one of Krakow's oldest traditions. In the octave of Corpus Christi, a parade of Tatars led by Lajkonik, riding on an artificial horse, is roaming the city streets. On this day, hitting Lajkonik's mace is said to bring good luck.
