National Disaster Authority Holds Rescue And Relief Drill As Nepal Expects Above Average Monsoon Rainfall

Nepal's National Disaster Authority, in coordination with various agencies, is holding a rescue and relief drill in a pond on the outskirts of Lalitpur District, Nepal, on June 7, 2024, as preparedness for the upcoming monsoon. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division of Nepal, this year's monsoon is entering Nepal on June 13. Ahead of the formal activation of the monsoon, the Lalitpur District Disaster Management Committee, Rajdal Battalion of the Nepal Army, District Administration Office, Lalitpur, Nepal Red Cross, and other bodies are holding a drill titled ''Monsoon 4.''
