Three People Shot And One Person Dead In Chicago Illinois
Three people are being shot, and one person is dead in Chicago, Illinois, United States, on June 16, 2024. At approximately 12:25 a.m., Sunday morning on the 4500 block of S. Evans Avenue, three victims are being struck by gunfire. A 26-year-old female victim is sustaining one gunshot wound to the buttocks and is being transported to the hospital and is in good condition. A 38-year-old male victim is sustaining one gunshot wound to the chest and is being transported to the hospital where he is in critical condition. A 35-year-old male is sustaining a gunshot wound to the head and is being transported to the hospital where he is being pronounced dead. Preliminary investigation is indicating that the three victims are being shot at by multiple suspects who are fleeing the scene on foot. There are no suspects in custody.
