One Person Dead And One Person In Critical Condition After Shooting In Chicago Illinois
Police are investigating the shooting on Friday morning. One person is dead and one person is critically wounded in a shooting in Chicago, Illinois, United States, on June 21, 2024. At approximately 12:57 a.m. on Friday morning on the 7700 block of S. Prairie Avenue, Chicago police are discovering a 31-year-old male victim with a gunshot wound to the head, and he is being pronounced dead on the scene. Preliminary investigation indicates that the victim is traveling as a passenger in a vehicle when he is being shot by an unidentified offender who is traveling in a white vehicle. The victim is exiting the vehicle and attempting to flee the scene on foot. A 22-year-old male victim who is outside walking near the shooting incident is sustaining multiple gunshot wounds to the arm and is being transported to the hospital where he is in critical condition.
