Three Teenagers Shot, One Dead In Chicago Illinois Shooting
A vehicle is being damaged by bullet holes and blood at the crime scene. Three teenagers are being shot, with one dead, in a shooting in Chicago, Illinois, United States, on June 21, 2024. At approximately 6:57 p.m., Friday evening, on the 5600 block of N. Rockwell Street, Chicago police are discovering that three 16-year-old male victims are all being struck by gunfire as they are entering a vehicle. One of the males is sustaining a gunshot wound to the back and is being transported to the hospital where he is being pronounced dead. The second male victim is being transported to the hospital where he is being listed in serious condition with a gunshot wound to the shoulder. The third victim is being struck in the knee and is being transported to the hospital where he is being listed in fair condition. A witness is telling police officers that the victims are being shot at by a suspect traveling in a black SUV which is fleeing the scene. There are no suspects in custody.
