Full Moon Strawberry Moon In India
The first full moon of the summer, also known as the ''Strawberry Moon,'' makes its entrance in June. This full moon holds religious significance as it signals the start of the strawberry harvest season and is a time for reflection and renewal. According to NASA, the Strawberry Moon, also known as the ''Hot Moon'' or the ''Planting Moon,'' is the lowest-hanging full moon of the year. This full moon can be seen changing color and getting brighter over time after rising, although sometimes clouds cover the moon. It is visible through the gaps in the branches and leaves of the trees in a forest in Tehatta, West Bengal, India, on June 22, 2024. (Photo by Soumyabrata Roy/NurPhoto)
