Purple Sunbird (Cinnyris Asiaticus) - Animal India
In The Sunbird Family, The Purple Sunbird (Cinnyris Asiaticus) Is A Small Bird, Measuring About 10 Centimeters. It Is Found Mainly In South And Southeast Asia, But Its Range Extends West Into Parts Of The Arabian Peninsula. Like Other Sunbirds, They Feed Primarily On Nectar But Consume Insects, Especially When Feeding Their Young. Purple Sunbirds Have A Fast And Direct Flight And Can Take Nectar By Hovering Like Hummingbirds, Though They Often Perch At The Base Of Flowers.
