Cares Trail In Spain

The Cares Trail (Ruta del Cares) in Asturias, Spain, on July 11, 2024, is one of the most popular trekking paths within the Picos de Europa. The route is running between the province of Leon and Asturias, from the Asturian village of Puente Poncebos to Posada de Valdeon through Cain in Leon along the Cares Canyon. In the old times, the route is the only way to reach both towns during the snow seasons in the winter. Every year, hundreds of people from all over Europe are walking this trail.
