Ponte Di Annibale Or Ponte Di S. Angelo Is One Of The Oldest Bridges In Italy.
In the province of Cosenza, in Calabria, a small town called Scigliano is being crossed by the Savuto river, above which the ancient Ponte di Annibale or Ponte di S. Angelo is standing. Various archaeological evidence is showing that the bridge, now a national historic monument, is being built in the period from 131 to 121 BC, and is one of the oldest bridges in Italy.
