First Heat Wave In Spain.
People are spending the afternoon in the city center at the gates of the first heat wave on the Iberian Peninsula, in Barcelona, Spain, on July 17, 2024. According to the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET), the displacement of an anticyclone from Algeria and the arrival of a very warm and dry air mass from the south are causing a marked increase in temperatures from this Wednesday until at least Saturday throughout the Iberian Peninsula and the Balearic Islands.
