An ongoing housing project is being seen in Kolkata, India, on July 23, 2024. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is tabling the union budget 2024-25 in parliament today, implementing various schemes amidst which she is focusing on urban housing development under the PM Awas Yojana Urban 2.0. The housing needs of 1 crore urban poor and middle-class families are being addressed with an investment of INR10 lakh crore.
