Nepali Students Hold Candle Light Vigil A Day After Fatal Aircrash That Left 18 Dead

Nepali students affiliated with the Nepal Student Union, the student wing of the Nepali Congress, are holding a candlelight vigil in memory of 18 passengers who died in the Saurya Airlines crash in Kathmandu, Nepal, on July 25, 2024. The students are also paying tribute to the passengers of the twin buses that were swept away by a landslide in Chitwan District. Out of 63 people swept into the Trishuli River on July 12, about 25 bodies have been retrieved so far, and no progress is being made in locating the missing buses.
