Former prisoners of Shkval Special Battalion defend Ukraine
A Shkval (Squall) Battalion serviceman sporting an oseledets hairstyle is facing other soldiers in Ukraine, on July 26, 2024. Former prisoners who volunteered to defend Ukraine and were released on parole are making up most of the Shkval Special Assault Battalion of the 57th Otaman Kost Hordiienko Motorized Brigade.
