Gathamagu Festival Celebrated In Nepal

Local residents of Bhaktapur are burning an effigy of a mythical demon 'Ghantakarna' during the celebration of a Newa festival, Gathamuga, on Friday in Sipadol, Bhaktapur. The festival is being celebrated on Shrawan Krishna Chaturdashi across the Kathmandu Valley, marking the death of the demon.
