Daily Life In Indonesia

On August 06, 2024, in Langkat, North Sumatra, Indonesia, Risky Cahyadi, Chief of Indonesia's Photojournalist Organisation (PFI) of Medan, is giving the Iqra' book to the children of Matfa village (Majelis Taqlim Fardhu Ain). The villagers are actively implementing a social order based on the holy book of the Qur'an. This is happening ten days before the 79th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Indonesia. In Kampung Kasih Sayang, Matfa, activities embodying the principles of Pancasila are commencing in various societal circles. Embracing independence is serving as a demonstration of the Indonesian people's awareness of conflicts in regions like Europe and Arabia, which stem from the historical impacts of colonialism and are regarded as inhumane. Indonesia is advocating for independence, states Tuwan Imam, Muhammad Imam Hanafi (36), leader of Matfa Village, which comprises around 180 families or approximately 900 individuals in an area of around 20 hectares.
