Mehbooba Mufti Urges BJP Government To Resume Cross-LOC Trade In Kashmir
Mehbooba Mufti, the former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir and leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), is speaking during a press conference in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, on August 09, 2024. Mehbooba Mufti is urging the BJP-led government to resume Cross-Line of Control (LOC) trade between Salamabad in Uri and Muzaffarabad in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (POK). Moreover, traders are being subjected to raids by the Income Tax department, which is demanding taxes from them despite their inability to generate income since 2019.''
