One Person Dead, Two People Injured In Shooting On 4700 Block Of West Polk Street In Chicago Illinois
One person is being killed and two others are being injured in a shooting in Chicago, Illinois, United States, on August 17, 2024. At approximately 4:40 a.m., Saturday morning on the 4700 Block of West Polk Street, a 53-year-old male and a 41-year-old female are outside when they are hearing gunshots and then feeling pain. The 53-year-old male is sustaining a gunshot wound to his abdomen and is being transported to the hospital, where he is being pronounced dead. The 41-year-old female victim is sustaining a gunshot wound to her right ankle and is being transported to the hospital, where she is being listed in good condition. A 33-year-old male victim is sustaining a gunshot wound to his right foot and is self-transporting to the hospital, where he is being listed in good condition. No suspects are in custody.
