One Teenager Dead And One Teenager Injured In Shooting As They Were On A Porch Of A Home In Chicago Illinois
One teenager is dead and another teenager is injured after they are shot at while on a porch in Chicago, Illinois, United States, on August 17, 2024. At approximately 9:20 p.m. on Saturday evening, on the 6700 block of S. Loomis Blvd, a 17-year-old male and a 16-year-old male are on a porch when an unidentified suspect(s) approach and fire gunshots before fleeing. The 17-year-old is sustaining a gunshot wound to the stomach and back; he is transported to the hospital where he is pronounced dead. The 16-year-old male is sustaining a gunshot wound to the chest, is treated on scene, and is transported to the hospital in good condition. There are no suspects in custody.
