A 29-year-old man is killed on the 1300 block of E. 53rd Street in Chicago, Illinois, United States, on August 22, 2024. At approximately 4:20 p.m. on Thursday afternoon, a 29-year-old male victim stands outside when he is involved in a verbal altercation with an unknown male suspect. The suspect displays a firearm, fires a gunshot in the victim's direction, and flees in an unknown direction.
