XLI Mexico City Marathon TELCEL 2024
On August 25, 2024, the XLI Mexico City Marathon TELCEL takes place in Mexico City, Mexico, where more than 40,000 people run through the most emblematic streets of the capital to complete the 42 kilometers of the competition. Ciudad Universitaria serves as the starting point for the runners, who finish at the Zocalo of the capital. In the men's category, the winners are Edwin Kiprop Kiptoo with a time of 2 hours, 10 minutes, and 36 seconds; Leonard Langat with a time of 2 hours, 11 minutes, and 30 seconds; and Francis Cheruiyot with a time of 2 hours, 11 minutes, and 35 seconds. All are from Kenya. The winner in the women's elite category is Kenya's Fancy Chemutai, with an official time of 2 hours, 29 minutes, and 20 seconds.
