Members ofthe public sing and enjoy with Our Lady's Choral Society, accompanied by the Dublin Handelian Orchestra, during an outdoor performance of George Frideric Handel's Messiah. This English-language oratorio, composed in 1741, was first performed in Dublin on 13 April 1742, and received its London premiere nearly a year later. The annual anniversary outdoor performance is held every year on the site of the former Neal's Musick Hall, in Temple Bar. Dublin, Ireland, on Wednesday, 13 April 2016.
