Southern Polish Towns Are Being Rebuilt From Debris After Flood
Washed out edge of a road is seen as massive flooding affected tourist resorts in southern Poland - Ladek Zdroj, Poland on September 27, 2024. Central Europe, including Poland, experienced widespread flooding after Storm Boris reins. Resorts such as Ladek Zdroj, Klodzko and Stronie Sloskie were particularly affected by a flood wave. The towns are being rebuilt from debris. Europe's intense rainfall in September is twice as likely thanks to climate change, says the World Weather Attribution (WWA) group.
