Lucie Castets, the left-wing New Popular Front (NFP - Nouveau Front Populaire) coalition's candidate for Prime Minister and an economist, was seen participating in a protest organized by the CGT union for strike action, demanding the repeal of the pension reform and higher wages and pensions, in Paris on October 1, 2024.
