The NYPD is on the scene of an overnight shooting that results in the death of a 59-year-old man inside an apartment building in the Edgemere section of Queens, New York, United States, on October 4, 2024. On Thursday evening, at approximately 11:13 p.m., police respond inside 319 Beach 54 Street. Upon arrival, police officers discover a 59-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds to the head, unconscious and unresponsive. EMS responds and pronounces the victim dead on the scene.
