The Iena Bridge In Paris Becomes Pedestrianised
In Paris, France, on October 21, 2024, Paris City Hall definitively closes the Iena Bridge to car traffic. This emblematic bridge linking the Eiffel Tower to the Palais Chaillot becomes a pedestrian zone to improve visitor safety and enhance its tourist appeal. The central area of the bridge is now reserved for pedestrians, with two lanes on the sides for buses, taxis, cyclists, and emergency vehicles. (Photo by Telmo Pinto/NurPhoto)
