Guinness Record For Mariachis And Miss Universes At The Zócalo In Mexico City

On November 10, 2024, in Mexico City, Mexico, the Society of Authors and Composers of Mexico participates in organizing the Guinness Record for Mariachis at the Zocalo, where dozens of mariachis gather and perform several songs of this genre simultaneously and in a coordinated manner. According to the official record, 1,122 musicians gather in this place to play in unison. At the end of this activity, women who are part of the Miss Universe beauty pageant arrive, with the presence of 130 women of various nationalities, surpassing the previous record of 95. They take a panoramic photograph under the flagpole of the capital's Zocalo and socialize with the people present. According to its organizers, the most significant changes include the elimination of age and marital status restrictions, allowing married women with children to participate. The Miss Universe 2024 Grand Final takes place on November 16, 2024.
