Aftermath of massive Russian missile and drone attack in Kyiv
In Kyiv, Ukraine, on November 17, 2024, people with pets stay in a bomb shelter during an air alert caused by a large-scale Russian missile and drone attack. In the recent massive attack, Russian troops launch 210 aerial targets--120 missiles and 90 drones--targeting mainly the energy sector facilities across Ukraine. Ukraine's Defence Forces shoot down 102 rockets and 42 drones used by Russian forces to attack Ukraine since the evening of November 16, while 41 UAVs disappear from radars. In Kyiv, two women are injured in the Russian attack on Sunday, November 17. NO USE RUSSIA. NO USE BELARUS. (Photo by Ukrinform/NurPhoto)
