NYPD Investigators Inside Of 1479 Macombs Rd. In Mount Eden Section Of Bronx New York Following Stabbing Death Of A Woman And Man Who Was Injured
The NYPD investigates the scene of a 38-year-old woman who is killed and a 46-year-old man who is wounded in a stabbing in the Mount Eden section of Bronx, New York, United States, on December 6, 2024. On Friday morning at approximately 3:31 AM, police respond to a 911 call of an assault in progress at 1479 Macombs Road. Upon arrival, police officers discover a 38-year-old woman with multiple stab wounds to the chest and back. EMS responds and transports the woman to Saint Barnabas Hospital where she is later pronounced dead. Upon further investigation, it is discovered that a second victim, a 46-year-old man who is stabbed once in the left leg, is transported to Saint Barnabas Hospital by private means where he is listed in stable condition. A person of interest is taken into custody on the scene. The investigation remains ongoing at this time. A vehicle with blood on it is also found outside of 1479 Macombs Road.
