Migratory Birds Settle In Kathmandu

A migratory bird, the Neotropic Cormorant or Olivaceous Cormorant (Phalacrocorax brasilianus or Phalacrocorax olivaceus), searches for fish at Taudaha Wetland Lake in Kirtipur, Kathmandu, Nepal, on December 15, 2024. Taudaha, known as the lake of snakes, is one of the largest resting places for endangered migratory birds from the southern parts of Southeast Asia, as well as from Africa and Australia.
