Crime Scene Investigators At Scene Of Man Dead After Being Shot In Mount Hope Section Of Bronx New York
The NYPD Crime Scene Unit places evidence markers at the scene to highlight the weapon and other evidence found where an unidentified man is shot and killed in the Mount Hope section of Bronx, New York, United States, on December 19, 2024. On Thursday morning at approximately 7:27 AM, police respond to East 175th Street and Monroe Avenue. Upon arrival, officers observe an unidentified, unconscious, and unresponsive adult male with a gunshot wound to the torso. EMS responds and transports the male to NYC Health and Hospitals/Saint Barnabas, where he is later pronounced dead. There are no arrests at this time, and the investigation remains ongoing.
