Members of the Russian community in the Zocalo of Mexico City, Mexico, on December 22, 2024, dance the jorovod dance during the parade of Ded Moroz (Russian Santa Claus) and Snegurachkas (granddaughter and helper of Ded Moroz) on Christmas Eve. The jorovod is the oldest Russian dance, where participants hold hands tightly, sometimes with just one finger, the little finger, while moving in a circle, normally danced on these dates around a Christmas tree.
