Mario Fowler Shot And Killed And Another Man Injured In New Year’s Day Shooting In Bronx New York City
A 46-year-old man, identified as Mario Fowler, is shot and killed, and a 23-year-old man is grazed by a bullet in the Bronx, New York, United States, on January 1, 2025. On Wednesday morning at approximately 5:23 am, police respond to 364 East 170 Street. Upon arrival, officers find 46-year-old Mario Fowler inside the location with gunshot wounds to both legs. EMS responds and transports him to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where he is pronounced dead. Subsequently, officers discover a 23-year-old man in front of 1420 Clay Avenue with a graze wound to the chin. EMS responds and transports the 23-year-old victim to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln in stable condition.
