The Airbus A220 airplane, with registration tail number HB-JCU and named Davos, is powered by two PW1524G-3 jet engines. It is a former Bombardier C Series CS300 type, a narrow-body plane. Swiss International Air Lines is the flag carrier of Switzerland, a subsidiary of the Lufthansa Group, and a member of the Star Alliance aviation alliance, operating a fleet of 88 planes.
