People watch and travel the new route, NH-717A, from Bagrakot to Sikkim, which connects the neighboring Sikkim state via West Bengal state as well as the rest of the country in Bagrakot, Dooars, West Bengal, some 45 km from Siliguri, on January 6, 2025.National Highway (NH) 717 is a 61 km highway in West Bengal that is a secondary route of National Highway 17. NH 717A is a new highway that runs through the districts of Kalimpong and Jalpaiguri in West Bengal, and Pakyong and Gangtok in Sikkim.
