Duchess of Cambridge visits National Portrait Gallery
Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, concludes a busy day of engagements with a visit to the National Portrait Gallery to view her much talked about new photographic portraits in the Vogue 100: A Century of Style exhibition. She was met by the gallery's director Nicholas Cullinan and British Vogue editor Alexandra Shulman. It was the first time Kate had seen the two pictures of herself displayed in the gallery - although an oil of herself has previously hung there - which were taken as part of a wider spread for British Vogue's centenary June issue.
