The steam engines of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Darjeeling Himalayan Railway ''toy trains'' prepare for the early morning haul at the Darjeeling station in Darjeeling, India, on February 1, 2025. The Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, also known as the ''Toy Train,'' is a narrow gauge railway. Built between 1879 and 1881, the railway moves up to an elevation level of 2,200 meters (7,218 ft).
