Russian ballistic missile strike on Izium in Kharkiv region

In Izium, Ukraine, on February 4, 2025, municipal workers and members of the public clean the streets from the rubble after a Russian ballistic missile strike in Izium, Kharkiv region, northeastern Ukraine. At around 11:40 on Tuesday, February 4, Russian troops launch an Iskander ballistic missile at central Izium, a town in Kharkiv region. The attack kills five people, including a pregnant woman. As of 16:00, 55 people are injured, 24 of whom are admitted to the hospital. The strike partially destroys the administrative building of the Izium Town Council, damages another administrative office, and shatters the windows of three residential apartment buildings.
