Human Remains Found In 2024 On 4300 Block Of Brooks Street Northeast Deemed Homicide In Washington DC
Human remains found last year are deemed a homicide and prompt an aerial police presence on the 4300 block of Brooks Street Northeast in Washington, DC, United States, on February 6, 2025. Throughout Thursday afternoon, police conduct aerial surveillance and investigate the area. On October 18, 2024, at approximately 11:46 a.m., police respond to a report of found human remains in the 4300 block of Brooks Street Northeast. Upon arrival, officers locate human remains in the rear of the location. DC Fire and EMS respond to the scene and pronounce the victim dead. The victim is transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, where an autopsy is conducted, and the manner of death is ruled a homicide.
