A 56-year-old man is shot and killed at a deli and grocery in the Belmont section of Bronx, New York, United States, on February 17, 2025. On Monday evening at approximately 6:21 PM, police respond to the front of 717 East 187 Street where officers find a 56-year-old man unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the chest. EMS responds and transports the man to Saint Barnabas Hospital where he is pronounced dead. Investigators of the NYPD Crime Scene Unit collect a shell casing at the scene and photograph the area.
