NYPD Officer Shot While Executing Search Warrant At Vladeck Houses On Lower East Side Of Manhattan New York

An NYPD officer is shot in the shoulder by a barricaded suspect while attempting to serve a search warrant at the Vladeck Houses development on Madison Street on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, New York, United States, on February 18, 2025. Emergency Services Unit officers go to the Madison Street building around 5:10 a.m. where the armed man is barricaded inside the apartment. The suspect is taken into custody after shots are fired, wounding an officer, and the suspect is also wounded.
