Serious Bus Collision In Barcelona Leaves 53 Injured, Including Italian Students

In Barcelona, Spain, on March 1, 2025, a group of students, assisted by psychologists from the Barcelona City Council, returns to the hotel after the accident. A serious accident involving two tourist buses on Avinguda Diagonal in Barcelona leaves 53 people injured, four of whom are in critical condition, including a 17-year-old minor. The accident occurs when a bus carrying 50 Italian students from Messina crashes into another bus that is stopped at a designated pickup area, causing a chain collision that also affects a pedestrian. Among the injured are 41 Italians, 8 Spaniards, 2 Germans, and 2 French nationals. Four are in critical condition, while the rest sustain varying degrees of injuries. The injured are transported to Hospital Clinic, Hospital de Sant Pau, Hospital del Mar, and Hospital Vall d'Hebron.
