Handicapped Teacher Teach At Zhangxiang Elementary School In Dingji Town, China

The 42-year-old female teacher, who suffered polio at three, has kept on giving class on the stick for 18 years since her college graduation in 1998. For years, she has to stand for at least four hours every day, which makes her afflicted with pain in waist and lower extremities. "I have thought my body condition could not make me a teacher, but finally I find it is greatly meaningful for me to bring knowledge to village students," said Li Yuanfang.
