30 Vehicles Burnt, More Than 10 Confined Dead In Abuja Tanker Explosion

A CNG ( Compressed Natural Gas ) cylinder was seen on the ground at the scene of a tanker explosion on Wednesday near Karu Bridge, a suburban area in Abuja, destroyed several vehicles and sparked widespread panic among residents and commuters. The incident, which occurred at around 7:14 p.m., claimed more than 10 lives and left at least 30 vehicles burnt, according to witnesses in Abuja, on March 20, 2025.
