Bank Robbery At Citizens Bank On Hackensack Street In East Rutherford New Jersey
A bank robbery occurs at Citizens Bank at 246 Hackensack Street in East Rutherford, New Jersey, United States, on April 2, 2025. Detectives from the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Special Investigations Squad assist the East Rutherford Police Department with the bank robbery that occurs Wednesday afternoon. In coordination with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and with additional assistance provided by neighboring police departments adjacent to East Rutherford as well as the Bergen County Sheriff's Office, law enforcement responds and investigates the incident. At this time, no additional information is available while the preliminary investigation is still underway. Police say there is no ongoing threat to the general public.
